About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Lincoln, Maine. This position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and is for a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions
- Perform triage and assess patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Document patient care and treatment in medical records
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Maine
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
