Local Contract Director of Respiratory Therapy - $79-83 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist Director for a local contract job in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the respiratory therapy department
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care standards are met
• Manage staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical respiratory therapy setting
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Experience in managing a respiratory therapy department
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices
• Experience with respiratory equipment and techniques
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
