About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVOR for a local contract nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Virginia.
• CVOR certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including 10-hour days, 36 hours per week.
