Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $71 per hour

About the role

TRA is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Commerce Charter Twp, Michigan. The start date is July 27, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on a 8-hour shift, days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in diagnostic imaging and cardiology.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Basic EKG course completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an acute care hospital.
• At least 1 year of current experience in providing cardiac cath and radiology care.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in computed tomography, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (ARRT).
• State license if required.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
