Local Contract Cath Lab Technologist - $71 per hour

About the role

TRA is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Detroit, Michigan starting on August 10, 2026. The duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts including days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under supervision
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and related procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Document patient care and procedures accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team members

Requirements

• Formal 2-year radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements
• Basic EKG course completion
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in acute care hospitals
• 1 year of current experience in cardiac cath and radiology care
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography certification
• State license if required
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for employment in the United States
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
