Local contract position in San Antonio, Texas for a Cath Lab Technologist.

About the role

TRA Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of contract security compared to an outside agency.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Requirements

Education

• Minimum: Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT
• Basic EKG Course
• Preferred: BS in Radiology or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years experience in an Acute Care hospital
• 1 year current experience providing Cardiac Cath and Radiology Care

Certification/Licensure

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist – ARRT
• State license if required
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS
