Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $52-61 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract position in Lansing, Michigan. This role is expected to last for 13 weeks, working 40 hours per week on a 10-hour shift, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to the physician
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes

Requirements

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience in a similar healthcare setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology
• Current CPR certification

Skills

• Proficiency with medical equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
