About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week position in Gastonia, North Carolina. The shift is 10 hours per day.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures
- Document patient data accurately and maintain records
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in North Carolina
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac cath lab technology
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams
