Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $48-56 per hour
About the role
We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract position in Salem, Virginia. This role is expected to last for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek, consisting of 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using specialized equipment.
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure care.
- Document all procedures accurately and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
- A current valid license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Experience in performing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.

- Proficiency in operating medical equipment used in catheterization labs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
