About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week position in Austin, Texas. This role offers 40 hours per week, with a 10-hour shift during the day.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures
  • Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Texas
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Skills

  • Proficiency with medical imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Schedule
