Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - $56-60 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Lewiston, Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Idaho.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Catheterization Technology.
• Successfully completed a clinical rotation in a catheterization laboratory setting.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating catheterization lab equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
