Local Contract Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - $56-60 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Cath Lab Technologist for a local contract job in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Operate and monitor equipment used in catheterization procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in Tennessee.
• Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (preferred).
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.

Pay

The pay package is based on 7 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
