Local CDL Truck Driver

Join us as a valued team member operating small-to large-sized trucks with trailers to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, and personnel within an assigned industrial area.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks with trailers for transportation of materials, merchandise, equipment, and personnel
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Communicate and work effectively with team members
• Maintain a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
• Perform duties in a customer-focused and collaborative team environment
• Adapt to flexible work schedules and tasks

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience
• Current driver’s license
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (or ability to attain)
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions
• Basic mathematical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of commercial driving experience
• Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., product storage, product staging, forklifts)
• Driving a forklift (e.g., basic operations such as driving forwards, backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas)
• Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks)
• Self-reliant and able to work accurately under limited supervision
• Customer-focused and collaborative team player
• Flexible in work performed and schedule

Physical Requirements

• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working across temperature zones (cold and/or hot environments) for extended periods
• Working in environments where dust is present
• Shift schedules that include days, nights, weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime

Pay

$28 - $30 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

40+ hours per week.
