Looking for a rewarding career? $30.84/hour (base rate) complemented with premium payFort Wayne, IN area (primary); runs approximately up to 150 miles; occasional Bourbonnais, IL to Fort Wayne, INStep Deck, RGN (Removable Gooseneck), Double Drop trailersQuarry equipment (rock crushers, screen plants, quarry machinery), steel plate, oversize loads Work Schedule Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturday as neededFirst pickup: 8:00 AM | Last pickup: 2:00 PMOn Call, flexible hours — schedule driven by customer project volume average of 20-30 hours per weekEstimated frequency: 3–6 days per week depending on operational needs Route Primary: Shuttle equipment between two Fort Wayne, IN pickup locations and QSL Transport staging yardSecondary: Point-to-point deliveries up to 150 miles from Fort Wayne (e.g., Indianapolis, IN area)Occasional: Bourbonnais, IL to Fort Wayne, IN for steel plate flatbed loadsRoutes are variable; driver must be comfortable with unfamiliar roads and permit-specified routing Qualifications What you need to succeed: Valid Class A CDL — appropriate endorsements for oversize/heavy haul transportationMinimum 2 years of experience in oversized/heavy haul transportationSelf-sufficient and reliable — this is a part-time/on-call role requiring schedule flexibilityComfortable with variable routes throughout Indiana, Illinois, and the broader Midwest If you are an experienced heavy haul driver looking for flexible, specialized work with a reputable logistics company, we want to hear from you.
