About the role

Best Buy Metals is hiring a CDL-A Local Delivery Driver to deliver metal roofing and building materials using Ram 4500 and 5500 medium-duty trucks with specialized 25' to 35' delivery trailers. This role offers a steady weekday schedule, local routes, and a mix of driving with hands-on delivery work.

Pay

$22.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience. Weekly pay.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Local day routes
• Home daily
• No overnight trips
• Steady, consistent hours

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Ram 4500 and 5500 medium-duty trucks with specialized delivery trailers
• Deliver metal roofing and related materials to customer locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely by hand or with equipment
• Maintain DOT and FMCSA logs and compliance requirements when needed
• Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after delivery
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Current Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one
• Registered with FMCSA
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Confidence working independently on the road
• Experience maneuvering trailers longer than 25 feet in tight spaces or remote areas
• Strong safety awareness and sound judgment
