Local CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

We are hiring a Local CDL Driver in Muskogee, OK. This role involves operating a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Key responsibilities include collecting empty cylinders from customers, recording transactions, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining the vehicle's condition.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
• Collects empty cylinders from customers.
• Records transactions and obtains signatures.
• Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
• Handles loading/unloading.
• Cleans and maintains the vehicle's condition.
• Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
• Presents a professional appearance.

Requirements

• At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past 5 years.
• Or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude, is a plus.
• A high degree of physical capability and stamina to safely handle and deliver our products with routinely lifting 25-75 lbs and up to 125+lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Frequent bending, walking, standing, and driving for up to 8 hours a day of hazardous cargo.

Qualifications

• A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is essential and at least 21 years of age.

Skills

• The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.

Pay

Pay begins at $26/hour with eligibility for Quarterly Bonuses and a Referral Bonus.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with possible alternating weekends on call in case of business needs.
