Local CDL B Driver - $24/hr - Touch

About the role

This is a local CDL B delivery driver role based in Omaha, Nebraska, with a local route type, flexible assignment, and automatic transmission. You will spend most of your time driving and will also load your truck, unload materials at customer locations, and handle returns. Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic box truck or stake-body flatbed for local deliveries.
• Deliver plumbing supplies, appliances, pallets, bags, and boxed products.
• Travel routes that are typically no more than about one hour away.
• Load your own truck and unload materials at customer locations.
• Handle customer returns and assist in the warehouse when needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure cargo, and follow DOT regulations.
• Use a delivery tracking device and obtain customer signatures.

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Heavy touch handling (loading/unloading heavy items).

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
