Local CDL-A Flatbed Driver - $29 + Per Hour (DOE) + OT

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A flatbed driver to support operations based in Kansas City, MO. This position offers home daily opportunities, delivering steel coils and beams within a 250-mile radius. Equipment includes 2023–2024 International & Freightliner day cabs.

Driver will be loaded daily by forklift driver and expected to spot the forklift operator as needed. Handling includes securing loads, strapping, and unstrapping at delivery sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes
• Transport heavy steel equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks (lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc.)
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Requirements

• CDL A license
• 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Light touch handling experience

Pay

$29+ per hour with overtime after 40 hours.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 5 AM start (no exceptions). Averages 60–65 hours per week.
