About the Role
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations with steady work, reliable scheduling, and a driver-focused team. This is a direct-hire, local route position with home daily.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays, 5 AM start time, 10-12 hour days
- Pay: $28.07 per hour + overtime after 40 hours
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Light touch freight
Responsibilities
- Operate a truck to collect fabrication material from various locations
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers
- Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching
- Occasionally push or pull up to 75 lbs
- Work in outside elements, including summer heat and winter cold
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Tanker endorsement (required at start)
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers
- Ability to handle outside elements
