Local CDL A Driver - $225/Per Day

About the role

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL‑A Driver to support local transportation operations in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The position offers consistent weekday work, daily home time, and potential weekend opportunities.

Location: Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Route type: Local delivery. Assignment type: Flex. Transmission: Automatic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL‑A tractor‑trailer on local routes.
• Transport general freight and Ecolab equipment throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Martinsburg, West Virginia.
• Complete approximately one to two hauls per day.
• Manage live‑load, live‑unload, and possible drop‑and‑hook assignments.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch.

Requirements

• Valid CDL‑A.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to handle light‑touch work, live loading/unloading, and possible drop‑and‑hook assignments.
• Automatic transmission only.
