About the role
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Georgetown, KY.
Schedule
- Start times will vary, but once a driver gets started they will stay on the same shift
- Monthly bids based on seniority
Pay
- $1,025 per week
- Once training is completed, the pay will go to $1,255 per week
Route & freight details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Automotive parts, live load/unload
- Equipment: 53' Dry Van
- Handling: No touch freight
Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: No experience required (includes CDL students)
- Endorsements: None
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport automotive parts in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
