About the Role

  • Essential Work – Fuel keeps businesses, farms, fleets, and communities moving. As a Lott Oil driver, you'll provide an essential service that customers depend on every day.
  • Safety Comes First – Operate modern equipment while following established safety procedures, DOT requirements, and company standards. We want our drivers to make it home safely every day.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a bobtail delivery truck on local routes.
  • Deliver fuel products to residential, commercial, agricultural, and other customers.
  • Load, transport, and unload products safely and efficiently.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.
  • Follow all DOT, hazmat, company, and safety regulations.
  • Safely connect hoses and equipment for deliveries.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Report vehicle maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Able to safely handle fuel delivery equipment
  • Willing to follow established safety procedures
  • Able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
  • A strong communicator and team player

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL with appropriate qualifications
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • Tanker endorsement
  • Ability to meet applicable DOT and company requirements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment screening
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop and climb
  • Load and off-load packages ranging in weight from 20 to 60 pounds each
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75lbs

Fuel delivery experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong CDL experience and the right qualifications.
