About the Role
As Local Account Planner of the sales organization, the primary responsibility is to perform an assorted range of strategic tasks at the direction of the Head of Sales. This role supports team members working with Local Accounts and focuses on activities designed to secure renewals, expand use or budgets, ensure quality control for agency-facing media plans, proposals, and RFP responses, assist with client onboarding, and provide additional client touchpoints to decrease churn and increase client spend.
Responsibilities
Boost Acquisition Rate
- Pre-call account or brand research
- Pre- or post-call mining to assemble PPT pitch decks with relevant case studies
- Proposal and RFP response completion support
- Building media plans using marketing-approved templates
- Collaboration between Client Success and Sales Representative to ensure cohesiveness in RFP processes, prior to and during implementation
General Support
- Facilitate and coordinate multiple aspects of region-specific client reviews
- Facilitate and coordinate with Marketing on collateral needs specific to region
- Facilitate and coordinate with Training resources to ensure ongoing training
- Serve as primary sales contact for @scale house accounts with no sales director assigned
- Uncover growth opportunities through daily work, culminating in a weekly meeting between Client Success and Sales
- Work cross-departmentally with Client Success, Engineering, Development, etc., to assist with integrations tied to revenue; submit tickets as needed
Streamline Client Onboarding and Prospecting Process
- Gather credit/payment information for Accounting
- Gather/facilitate copy for campaigns
- Assist in development of prospecting lists/tools
- Assist in collection of payments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of the online advertising industry, industry participants, trends, and technologies
- Excellent communication and organization skills with a demonstrated history in client satisfaction
- Highly motivated to excel with a strong work ethic and initiative
- Resourceful, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with client contacts at all levels
- Flexibility in work availability
