Responsibilities

• Takes and delivers orders promptly and accurately
• Ensures tables are clean and tidy upon arrival
• Presents menus and serves food and beverages
• Provides attentive and courteous service
• Maintains extensive knowledge of the menu and offers suggestions based on guests' preferences
• Safely transports hot and liquid items between the bar and kitchen
• Maintains a clean dining room area
• Anticipates and services guests' needs proactively
• Handles problems professionally and informs a manager about issues and resolutions

Requirements

• One year of serving experience
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely
• Knowledge of the menu and beverage list
• Able to communicate clear suggestions to guests
• Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform various physical tasks
• Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance

Skills
