Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Maintain public areas as follows:
• Lobby
• Corridors
• Banquet Areas
• Pool Facilities
• Entrances
• Public restrooms
• Vacuuming
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Dusting
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Trash disposal
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room and housekeeping staff rest rooms.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, floor shampooer, housekeeping carts, mop unit, etc.
• Accommodate guest requests by performing tasks such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and tidying up guest rooms if day staff cannot access during their shift.
• Perform turndown service if required.
• Report maintenance concerns.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries with appropriate sensitivity and immediacy, such as delivering cots, cribs, pillows, and other guest-related supplies within 10 minutes of receiving a call.
• Aid with laundry operations, including sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washers and dryers, and neatly folding clean linen and terry and placing them in proper storage locations.
• Ensure compliance with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with staff to achieve high levels of cooperation and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hospitality setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and laundry procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with guests and co-workers.

The salary for this position is $15.50 - $16 per hour.
