Lobby Attendant

About the role

Responsible for maintaining public spaces including the lobby, restrooms, hallways, and entrances, as well as assisting with guest requests. Special emphasis is placed on accommodating guest preferences, flexibility with work assignments, efficiency, quality, and a social demeanor that contributes to a hospitable environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Maintain public areas such as the lobby, corridors, banquet areas, pool facilities, entrances, and public restrooms, which involves vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, etc.
• Properly maintain cleanliness and supplies for public areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room and housekeeping staff restrooms.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor shampooers, housekeeping carts, mop units, etc.
• Accommodate guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting, if day staff cannot access them during the shift due to guest requests for late service or "Do Not Disturb" signs.
• Perform turndown service if required.
• Report maintenance concerns.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries with appropriate sensitivity and immediacy, such as delivering cots, cribs, pillows, and other guest-related supplies within 10 minutes of receiving the call.
• Assist with laundry operations whenever necessary, including sorting soiled linen and terry, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding clean linen and terry, and placing them in proper storage locations. Tasks may also include ensuring proper chemical levels in washing machines and cleaning dryer lint traps and washer filters.
• Comply with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with staff to achieve high levels of cooperation and service excellence.

Pay

$15.50 - $16 per hour.
