ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains oversight of delinquent loans and collaborates with management to restructure repayment terms.
- Collaborates with lending and borrowing institutions to assess and resolve credit issues and improve collateral positions.
- Manages multiple complex and challenging loan relationships, developing and implementing recovery strategies.
- Analyzes and implements plans based on Bank and external policies and regulations.
- Coordinates legal activities related to assigned files, including reviewing and evaluating appraisals and environmental reports.
- Prepares and presents watch list reports for review by loan and asset review committees.
- Engages with clients, advisors, attorneys, and CPAs to address loan issues and develop solutions.
- Communicates and coordinates with various departments to facilitate interactions.
- Supports loan officers and managers in addressing account deterioration and adjusting plans of action.
- Complies with applicable banking and industry-related laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in credit and/or collections.
- Knowledge of credit, underwriting, and collateral recovery methods and procedures.
- Understanding of tax, legal, and Bank credit/loan policies.
- Thorough knowledge of the legal system related to loan collections.
- Ability to prevent losses and rehabilitate non-performing credits.
- Experience in supervising others (equivalent to 1+ years).

- Ability to travel if required.
- Capacity to handle stress and meet deadlines.
- Use of related equipment to perform job functions.
- Reading and interpreting documents as needed.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 10 pounds.
