About the role

Zions Bancorporation is a leading financial services company with over $80 billion in total assets. Based in 11 western states, Zions is dedicated to serving its local communities and its customers. The Collateral Loan Specialist role supports six affiliated banks by managing collateral for commercial and consumer loan portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Review collateral and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for submission
  • Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and place liens in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Some previous banking, loan processing, documentation, servicing or related experience
  • A High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of banking and lending processes, especially loan documentation and account maintenance
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Solving problems through research and analysis
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools or similar software
  • Customer service skills

Compensation is competitive and in line with work experience.

Schedule

The position is fully in-office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, Utah.

Location

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. It is located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site and features electric vehicle charging stations, proximity to Historic Gardner Village UTA TRAX station, access to outdoor recreation, parks, trails, shareable bikes and locker rooms, a large modern cafe with a healthy and diverse menu, a healthy indoor environment with ample natural light and fresh air, and a LEED-certified sustainable building.
