Loan Servicing Specialist I

Duties And Responsibilities

• Credit Insurance/ Debt Cancellation Servicing – Includes but is not limited to:
  • Affords assistance to customers with claims
  • Processes payments
  • Affords assistance to customers with issues that arise
  • Affords assistance to S&T Bank Accounting Department with monthly reconcilements of new and current business
  • Processes monthly payments to Servicers
  • Affords assistance with the cancellation process
• PMI Servicing – Includes but is not limited to:
  • Processes monthly payments to Servicers
  • Affords assistance with the cancellation process
• FNMA Processing – Includes but is not limited to:
  • Daily reporting of Monthly and Biweekly payments using LSDU
  • Daily Cash Remittance using LSDU
  • Loading Participations on all New FNMA Loans Sold
• Escrow Servicing – Includes but is not limited to:
  • Assists with the Semi-Annual Tax payment Processing including preparing tax bills to be paid and paying tax bills before the Discount Date
  • Pays Annual Hazard and Flood Insurance payments
  • Assists with daily reports that monitor new escrows loaded to the system and escrows from paid off loans
  • Affords assistance with various escrow issues and questions
• Performs general account maintenance such as billing adjustments, payment schedules, etc. related to Credit Insurance, PMI, and Escrow
• Researched and resolves questions for both internal & external customers
• Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization
• Affords additional duties as required

Education

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.

Experience

One to two years general experience.
