Loan Servicing Specialist

About the role

Walden Savings Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support the operational functions of our residential, construction, and consumer loan portfolio while ensuring compliance with Bank policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

What You'll Do

• Board new residential, construction, and consumer loans on the Bank's core processing system.
• Fund loans and process construction loan advances accurately and timely.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure loan documentation and system data are complete and accurate.
• Process loan payments and other servicing transactions.
• Review daily and monthly servicing reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow established service standards when communicating with internal departments, customers, attorneys, and other third parties.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking laws and regulations.
• Build positive customer relationships by providing outstanding service and referring customers to appropriate Bank personnel for additional products and services.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of experience servicing mortgages and consumer loans preferred.
• Prior secondary market experience with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae preferred.
• Experience with COCC preferred.

Pay

The expected pay for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
