General Summary
The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the servicing of all consumer and mortgage loans within the Credit Union. This role involves executing all related tasks in strict compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and efficient loan servicing. The Loan Servicing Specialist must possess expert knowledge of loan servicing processes, continuously seeking opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate department processes and procedures and recommend improvements to support the Credit Union’s strategic objectives.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products and servicing procedures.
- Aid with audits and compliance reviews as needed.
- Provide backup to all functional areas of Loan Servicing.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
In addition to the education requirement, minimum of 1 years' experience in related field and minimum of 1 years' experience with loan servicing is preferred.

Working Conditions
- Internal - Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of duties.
- External - Some travel may be required; however, information on environmental conditions is not available.
