Loan Servicing Account Solutions Specialist

About the Role

In this role, you will conduct inbound and outbound calls to resolve the delinquency status of past due customer accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Calls customers about early delinquency account statuses
• Works with customers to resolve account delinquency status while minimizing company interest losses
• Implements repayment plans as necessary and collects delinquent payments
• Ensures that files and paperwork are properly and accurately completed
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
• May contact outside parties to collect or clarify documentation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detailed oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal partners and external vendors
• Ability to learn and apply basic accounting principles, maintain accurate financial records, and follow established procedures
• Strong aptitude for high-volume data entry, error identification and correction, and attention to detail
• Understanding of collections, foreclosure, and REO concepts and industry practices

Work Arrangement

Onsite with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week based on performance and business needs. Proximity to Hattiesburg, MS required.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Training

2-4 weeks for external candidates

Pay

Minimum target: $33,975.00 USD; Median target: $40,446.00 USD

Incentive

This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
