About the role
The Loan Services Senior Specialist position at The Arrow Financial Corporation Family of Companies is ideal for someone with experience in loan servicing, customer service, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Works Collaboratively in a team environment to support the accurate and timely servicing of loans
- Superb Customer Service Skills with ability to resolve customer inquiries
- Educate and support co-workers and customers
- Assist with training the team through day-to-day operations, projects, and special assignments
- Provide consistent, outstanding internal customer service by anticipating and reacting to customer needs
- Formulate and implement strategies and processes to achieve department goals in a timely manner
- Oversee critical tasks in absence of Team Lead or Management
- Research data for management reports, audits, and projects as assigned
- Process and review data for proper authorizations and compliance meeting all department policies and procedures
Requirements
In addition to your work and life experiences, as well as your passion and excitement for the profession, you would benefit from having:
- Education/Certifications: Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred, 3 years of experience in banking and/or customer service preferred
- Skills/Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of banking rules and regulations pertaining to loan accounts, proven ability to analyze and solve problems, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Qualifications
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively use a telephone, computer mouse, and keyboard for extended durations
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment

Pay
The salary range for this position is $21.00-$25.00 an hour commensurate with experience and education. Additional compensation may be earned through the Company's annual bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
