Loan Research Specialist II

About the role

As a Loan Research Specialist II with Frost, you are our problem-solver. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and determining the proper resolution of disputes from various Credit and Consumer Financial Protection Bureaus. You will use your investigative skills and observant mindset to ensure we are following all applicable regulations and bank procedures. Processes and procedures are your passion, and you enjoy having the freedom to assist with creating, updating, and maintaining department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate Indirect and Direct Credit Bureau disputes
• Thoroughly review entire loan history and identify/validate any transactions that would affect the customer's reported pay status
• Determine and document appropriate account maintenance and/or resolutions
• Report findings back to the customer in accordance with regulations
• Monitor service member accounts and mortgage loan error resolutions
• Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining department procedures
• Prepare, reconcile, and submit mortgage loan information to Accounting for the bank's Quarterly Report Conference Call

Requirements

• 2+ years loan experience
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Experience working with applicable regulations and loan systems
