Loan Processor

About the role

This position is responsible for the production of loan documentation and for providing support to lenders in the Sioux City Loan Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and understand commercial, agricultural and consumer loan documents required for new notes, renewals, and extensions, with accuracy
• Request credit bureau and flood determinations
• Monitor loan files for completeness
• Review and reconcile daily reports, identifying and resolving any data discrepancies
• Monitor loan exception reports – updating tracking systems and resolving documentation deficiencies
• Prepare HMDA reporting
• Assist customers with loan transactions, loan status and interest rate inquiries

Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge and Experience: 3+ years of loan processing experience, specifically loan document preparation, preferred. Knowledge of commercial and/or residential mortgage processing functions.
