Loan Officer Assistant/Disclosure Specialist

Position Overview

The Branch Disclosure Specialist is responsible for reviewing loans for documentation needs and producing the disclosures and delivering the document to consumers. This position has daily contact with CCM customers, Loan Originators, & Production Managers to ensure accurate and timely disclosures and loan submissions.

Job Responsibilities

• Review documents and entire loan files and work to prevent problems by highlighting deficiencies and then notifying the mortgage loan officer
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information from CCM customers, as necessary, via phone, email, etc.
• Prepare disclosures and re-disclosures within 3 days of application or Change of Circumstance
• Verify accuracy of fees to mitigate TRID and RESPA violations
• Upload Disclosures to Encompass
• Review Compliance Review, revise any changes to obtain a pass
• Review for HPML, Safe Harbor and Rebuttable Presumption
• Answer Disclosure emails timely and accurately
• Communicate with all partners including Sales, Processing, Closing and Underwriting as needed

Qualifications And Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with RESPA/TRID
• Experience in the mortgage industry
• Knowledge of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule
• FHA/VA/USDA knowledge a plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service skills
