Position Overview
The Sales Assistant provides support to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC’s (“CCM”) mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The Sales Assistant works directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings.
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, overnighting documents, etc.
- Create and deliver mortgage loan disclosure packages and rate disclosure/re-disclosure packages to the borrower.
- Review documents and entire loan files, highlighting deficiencies and notifying relevant parties (mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor).
- Clarify and correct information, obtain additional information via phone, email, etc.
- Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors as needed.
- Support management in various stages and areas of lending and processing as needed.
- Manage a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
- Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and track proof of receipt.
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation and facilitate timely loan closings by working with the Title Company and customer to schedule.
Qualifications And Skills
- High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
- Previous sales support experience, preferred.
- Salesforce experience, preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
