Loan Officer Assistant
About the role
TEKsystems is currently searching for career-driven candidates interested in a Loan Officer Assistant opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the San Diego, CA area.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Supervisory Staff, Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs), Processors and Closers in order to expedite the processing of mortgage applications.
- Provide mortgage administration and post-closing assistance.
- Receive and respond to inquiries from members regarding mortgage applications.
- Absorb secondary marketing by retrieving outstanding Notes and preparing files for delivery, after closing has occurred.
- Initiate setup of mortgage applications by printing application and credit report.
- Monitor incoming loan volume; assigning and tracking each loan prior to forwarding.
- Monitor, field and direct phone calls; document as required.
Qualifications
- Mortgage/Real Estate/Financial Institution is Highly Preferred
- 1-3 years of office/administrative experience
- Leadership experience within a retail or restaurant setting
- Strong multitasking skills
- Excel and SharePoint experience is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
