Loan Documentation Processor 3

About the Role

We are seeking Loan Documentation Processor 3 professionals to join the Estate Care Center team within Case Management (Customer Resolution). This team supports mortgage loan servicing scenarios involving deceased borrowers, where successors such as spouses, significant others, or relatives require authorization to access loan information. The role involves investigative, document-heavy case work to validate successor rights and update access accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate legal and loan-related documentation, including court documents, wills, trusts, and supporting records, to determine if successors can be authorized to access loan information.
• Process notifications of deceased borrowers using sources such as death certificates and online research tools.
• Conduct case investigations and research to connect information across documents and systems.
• Manage a daily case pipeline within established SLA timelines, ensuring accurate case statuses and updates.
• Make occasional outbound calls for research and clarification, maintaining comfort with some phone work and call-backs.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

• Strong document review skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working in a case management or investigative environment with multiple moving parts.
• Ability to stay organized and manage workflow to meet SLA expectations.
• Coachable, quick learner with the ability to adapt to process changes.
• Comfortable with limited phone outreach and customer communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage servicing, loan documentation, or financial operations support.
• Exposure to legal documentation review, such as probate or estate-related documents.
• Prior experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
