About the role

Support Wholesale Lending through daily processing activities, including trade review, reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution. Handle a portfolio of Par LSTA loan trades from trade date through settlement, ensuring accurate execution and effective client service throughout the lifecycle. The role involves ad hoc reporting to maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
• Monitor the bank’s lending operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
• Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in Wholesale Lending Services.
• Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
• Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
• Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
• Perform work closely related to other areas, requiring an understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and strategy.

Requirements

• Relevant background in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience supporting or processing LSTA Par or Distressed loan trades.
• Ability to act as a point of contact for stakeholders outside of the immediate function and build a network of contacts.
