Loan Closer
About the role
The Mortgage Loan Closer II at Movement Mortgage is responsible for preparing and sending closing instructions within twenty-four hours of being assigned a closing file. This role requires confirming all underwriting closing and funding conditions will be cleared prior to closing, verifying cash to/from closing is clear on specific loan programs, reviewing and approving the final CD settlement statement per specific loan programs, verifying the loan meets/clears both state and federal compliance prior to the release of the closing package, examining final closing documents to confirm they are in compliance with loan product type, requesting wire to be released on loan file, uploading and labeling final CD statement along with closing instructions, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and sends closing instructions within twenty-four (24) hours of being assigned the closing file
- Confirms all underwriting closing and funding conditions will be cleared prior to closing
- Verifies cash to/from closing is clear on specific loan program
- Reviews and approves the final CD settlement statement per specific loan programs
- Verifies the loan meets/clears both state and federal compliance prior to the release of the closing package
- Examines final closing documents to confirm they are in compliance with loan product type
- Requests wire to be released on loan file
- Uploads and labels final CD statement along with closing instructions
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients
Requirements
- A high school diploma
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills, team player, excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between: $53,400.00 - $71,500.00
Schedule
The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
