Responsibilities
- Processes loans, including preparation work, computer input, and follow-up.
- May assist with loan closings.
- Prepares reports for management.
- Assists with preparing loans for loan committee, as needed.
- Establishes, maintains, and revises filing and record-keeping articles, records, and other documents.
- Affords assistance to customers regarding loan questions or account inquiries.
- Affords assistance with bill paying and GL entries.
- Handles exception tracking and processes payments.
- Ensures regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in banking, preferably with computer software and bookkeeping.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of loan processes and basic accounting.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Effective communication skills with management, customers, and colleagues.
- Pays close attention to detail and works with high accuracy.
- Ability to organize and maintain an efficient work environment without supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle deadlines.
- Team player mentality.
Skills
