Responsibilities
- Processes loans, including preparation work, computer input, and follow-up.
- May assist with loan closings.
- Prepares reports for management.
- Assists with preparing loans for loan committee, as needed.
- Establishes, maintains, and revises filing and record-keeping articles, records, and other documents.
- Affords assistance to customers regarding loan questions or account inquiries.
- Affords assistance with bill paying and GL entries.
- Performs exception tracking and processes payments.
Requirements
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of loan processes and basic accounting.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Effective communication skills with management, customers, and co-workers.
- Paying close attention to detail and working with a high degree of accuracy.
- Creating an organized and efficient work environment without supervision.
- Working under pressure of deadlines.
- Functioning as a team player.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in banking, preferably with computer software and bookkeeping.
