About the role
As a Loan Advisor, you’ll reach out to prospective clients over the phone, listen to their goals, and design customized loan options to fit their needs. Then, you’ll collaborate with all the different parties in the homebuying process to ensure a successful closing. We don’t just sell loans; we offer education and support every step of the way. Previous mortgage experience is not required. We provide a paid hands-on training program designed to give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to succeed in this role. We are searching for individuals with strong communication skills and an interest in developing their sales career.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales calls to potential clients (warm leads provided)
- Understand customer needs, then prepare and present tailored mortgage products
- Educate customers through a consultative sales process
- Manage your sales pipeline and follow up consistently with your clients all the way through their closing
- Collaborate with various parties including co-signors, realtors, title companies, and others as appropriate
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals with support from leadership
- Advise clients on purchase loan options and financing strategies
- Explain loan programs, rates, and terms clearly to borrowers
- Coordinate with realtors, underwriters, and processors to move loans forward
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely updates
- Meet production goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
