Responsibilities
- Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding.
- Resolves loan documentation issues with lending team collaborating on problem solving and process improvements efforts to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance.
- Handles customer account transactions which may include verifying incoming cash, accurately dispersing cash, accepting various deposits and payments, and cashing checks.
- Aid in providing internal approvals for the implementation of all new loans and changes to existing loans.
- Act as liaison with all customers regarding loan administration.
- Manage communications between lending officers and customers to resolve all customer issues efficiently.
- Be proficient with the Bank’s Loan Originating System, the Bank’s Core Operating System, Excel, and Word.
- Aid Loan officers with Consumer, Real Estate, Agriculture, and Commercial Lending per their request.
- Prepare Loan documents for all lending functions.
- Knowable of all loan instruments, including Mortgages, UCC’s, Notes, Security Agreements, Hypothecation Agreements, Assignments and other related finance forms.
- Perform day-to-day loan maintenance.
- Maintain and organize loan documentation files.
- Analyze credit tracking reports.
- Perform credit checks and flood checks.
- Review all loan documents for accuracy and provide feedback to the loan officer as needed.
- Create loan comments and being able to articulate both written and oral communication internally and externally on behave of the loan officer.
- Work closely with internal and external customers to meet their needs.
- Articulate communication, both oral and written.
- Ability to break down complex problems and arrive at the right solution.
- Ability to architect and drive change by enlisting support of management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to safety and soundness, compliance and lending.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Aid co-workers as needed.
Requirements
- Educations and Experience: High School diploma or GED.
- Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.
- Three to Five years of banking experience.
- Preferred: Three to Five years Administrative experience and/or customer service experience.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
