Loading Dock & Door Technician

About the role

This position is responsible for providing service and maintenance to loading docks and doors, as well as forklifts in the Tacoma, Bremerton, Gig Harbor Area, Tumwater, WA, Bend, OR, Albany, OR, and Anchorage, AK regions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair loading docks and doors
• Maintain and repair forklifts
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Respond to customer requests for service
• Document work performed and report findings

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with forklift operation and maintenance
• Knowledge of loading dock and door systems

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
