Loader Supervisor

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for an Outbound Operation Supervisor at our Louisville, KY Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations.

About the role

Manage dock and dispatch operations, including driver and freight handler management, coordinating dock operations, scheduling, safety compliance, and timely dispatching of LTL loads. Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dock operations and driver/freight handler scheduling
• Ensure safety compliance and quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
• Computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City and surrounding areas
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred

Pay

$67,000 - $70,000 yearly

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts
