Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery
- Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications
- A dedication to safe work practices
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Willingness to work outside in a variety of conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in heavy equipment
- Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
- Previous experience in quarry environment
- Experience welding and cutting
