Loader Operator (Blackheart) - 1st Shift - Linwood Mining and Minerals Corporation

About the role

Linwood Mining and Minerals Corporation, a proven leader in the limestone industry with roots dating back to 1944, is seeking a dependable, hands-on Loader Operator to join our operation near SSAB in Montpelier, Iowa. This role is part of a two-person operation where you’ll help keep the location running by performing a variety of tasks, including loading customer trucks, maintaining stockpiles, equipment maintenance, clean-up, and general site upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loader to load customer trucks and maintain stockpiles
• Perform equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Assist with clean-up and general site upkeep
• Work independently while collaborating as part of a two-person team
• Jump in wherever needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Comfortable operating a loader and working safely around heavy equipment
• Mechanically inclined with a willingness to handle basic maintenance
• Dependable, hands-on, and takes pride in getting the job done right
• Ability to work independently and as a solid teammate
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

Pay

$22.00/hour

Schedule

First shift, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime on Saturdays.
