About the role
As a Loader Operator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Complete required training, including safety standards and equipment operation.
- Safely operate and maintain loader and other heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, skid steer, pallet jacks).
- Perform pre-shift inspections and preventative maintenance; report any unsafe conditions.
- Load trucks, hoppers, and move materials to designated areas; track material counts.
- Identify and report cross-contamination risks and environmental hazards.
- Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses to the shift supervisor.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- The ability to complete additional on-site training will be required before these vehicles can be used at a facility.
